In October 2010 Anthea Redmond created @Jazzigator on Twitter with the purpose of promoting Jazz News, Albums, Gigs, Festivals, Tours, New Releases, & Events, with particular emphasis on artists & musicians new to the Jazz scene. After six successful years of publicizing both performers & venues as a voluntary service to the Jazz Community - and amassing a large following in the process - Anthea and husband Jacques came up with the idea of THE JAZZBITES SHOW: a podcast of in-depth interviews where artists were invited to talk freely about their lives, influences, and passion for music in an effort to captivate thousands of dedicated Jazz fans on social media - and the rest is History.

The continued success of The JazzBites Show led to the natural progression of an alternative kind of radio station dedicated to promoting new performers, record labels, and venues in an effort to build a unique platform for them to broaden their fanbase worldwide. On the 5th April 2016 the JazzBites Radio concept was born at JazzBitesRadio.com broadcasting Jazz in all its forms to Jazz lovers across the globe where new artists play alongside their more famous peers. Look out for these brand new shows on JazzBites Radio on the website and at JazzBites Radio FM in NE Maine and NB Canada.
